Alanna Story IN CONCERT on December 11!

We’re very excited to announce Indianapolis-based Alanna Story will be performing in concert on December 11 on Sunday morning!

Sisters Ally and Anna Long of Alanna Story.
Ally (L) and Anna Long

Sisters Anna and Ally Long are the creative force behind Alanna Story, a musical ensemble completed by bass player Joel Burkhead, guitarist Stephen West, and drummer Micah Beckwith. The Longs were born into a music-loving family in Bellingham, Washington. After moving to Florida they began studying piano and music theory in kindergarten, with Anna adding a classical training in violin and guitar along the way. Growing up in a pastor’s home naturally led them to use their talents for the Lord as worship leaders.

During high school, the girls relocated to Seattle. Then, in the mid-2000s the two began their studies at Anderson University. When not hitting the books, they plugged into campus worship ministries and began to hone their skills as a standalone act. Countless gigs across the country have sharpened their songwriting and talents into one lean, mean, God-praising music machine.

In the fall of 2008, inspiration arrived, and the Long sisters began to pursue original music and assemble a band. In 2010, they officially settled in the Midwest to combine their incredible talents with sincere hearts for worship.

Their goal is simple: To love Jesus and lead others to the throne room of God.

Their live shows get rave reviews. Then again, that’s no surprise considering their rigorous tour schedule. Alanna Story counts Kim Walker, Bethany Dillon, Hillsong, Kari Jobe, Misty Edwards, Brooke Fraser, Shane & Shane, Phil Wickham, Mumford & Sons, Ingrid Michaelson, Sigur Rós, Jonsi, Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Eastmountainsouth, and Bob Dylan (among others) as musical influences.

Get ready for their show and sample their new album Flickering Spark on Facebook, MySpace, Amazon, or iTunes.
